Syrup sorghum. Plants 6.5-10 feet tall with inflorescences up to 1 foot long. Plants average 5-7 tillers. Seeds are brown with red glumes. Up to 400 seeds per panicle. BRIX reading 17.4. Started flowering on 8/4 in 2016 at Heritage Farm. Exchange lister Marcia Halligan (WI HA M) of Wisconsin, received this variety of syrup sorghum from the Cap Stussy family and first listed it in the 1992 SSE Yearbook Exchange. Marcia shared it with Patrick Handrick (WI HA P) who later donated seeds to SSE in 2004. A variety by this name has been exchanged in the Yearbook for at least 20 years. SSE Accession # 119307
