Cora's

Large, round to oblate fruit. Yellow with green splotches at maturity. Smooth rind with slight netting at the blossom end. Slightly depressed blossom end. Fruit abscises from vine when overripe. Market mature fruit measure 4.5-5.6" long by 5-7" wide and weigh 2-4.5lbs. Pale orange flesh with a relatively large seed cavity. Subtle, slightly diluted flavor. Moderately sweet. Smooth texture. Mid-season maturing. Acquired by SSE from George Stevens (CA ST G2) who received the variety in 1988 from UC-Davis SSP. SSE Accession # 113318
