Grandma Nellie's Yellow Mushroom Bean

Pole snap. Very early (90-115 days to ripe) productive, tasty, tender even when nearly dry, round pods, ripen to thin curled up 4-5" pods (3.5"x3/8"x1/4" when dry) with dark brown seeds 1/2"x1/4"x1/8". Stops bearing in mid season then starts again. Produces huge seeds at shell stage which shrink to tiny brown when mature. Goldmarie and Gold of Bacau wax beans are more tender and have better flavor, but I got lots of orders for Nellie probably due to the name. 100% 3-year germination. 25 seeds from bumper year 2021. Tolerates half shade. I grew it again in 2025 but did not get much seed then.
