Rainbow

Shelling pea with straight pods. Each pod contains 6-8 peas. Pod width up to 0.5", pod length 2.5-3". Plants have one green pod per peduncle. Plants are short, 11-15" tall. Not a terribly vigorous or productive variety, at least during th 2021 growout at Heritage Farm. Peas are fairly starchy and dry, with some astringency. This variety is midseason maturing.
