Noob Taub

A tropical "pumpkin" of the species Cucurbita moschata. Pear-shaped fruit are buff colored with mottled green stripes that fade in storage. 6-10lbs. Fruit have a conspicuous white, waxy bloom. Fruit range in shape from pear-shaped to oblate to nearly round. Bright, thick, orange flesh. Good flavor. Nice sweetness, a little stringy, creamy, moist, and nutty. Brix 6.9. Moderately productive. Appears resistant to powdery mildew. SSE Accession # 121018
