Greensleeves

Greensleeves produces succulent, smooth and long deep green stems that are much more flavorsome than the usual, with pungent leaves ideal for stocks, stews, etc. Stated to contain a higher mineral and vitamin level. This seed is from a listing discontinued by SSE in 2017 due to lack of US history. SSE acquired this accession from Thompson & Morgan, who offered it from 1990-1995. It is not commercially available in the US today. The plants wintered over in pots here despite several periods of 20 degree weather lasting as much as a week. Rare.
