White Sword

Long, sword-shaped, white fruit. Straight to slightly curved. Some prickles on fruit calyx and pedicel. Market fruit measure 6-10" long, 1.5" wide, and weigh 2-5oz. Standard flavor. Purple flowers. Plants green, 16-22" tall. Medium-high productivity when grown in 2016 at Heritage Farm. Mid to late season maturing. Likely given to SSE by Suzanne Ashworth (CA AS S). Suzanne received this variety from Laotian students. A variety by this name has been exchanged in the SSE Yearbook Exchange for at least 20 years. SSE Accession # 109524
