Cherry, Ghost

Unique fruit! Large, pale yellow cherry tomato. Fruit are squishy and pubescent. Very juicy. Fruit walls are thin and locules are large. Mediocre flavor. Low acid and not very sweet. Indeterminate growth, regular leaves. Blemish-free fruit. 2-5 fruit per cluster. Ripe fruit measure 1.4-1.6" long by 1.4-1.7" wide and weigh 1.2-1.5ozs. Inserted styles. Plants suffered from septoria leaf spot in 2014 growout at Heritage Farm. Low productivity for a cherry tomato. Mid-season maturing. Acquired by SSE from Bill Minkey (WI MI B) who obtained the variety in 1993 from Joe Bratka of Elmwood, NJ. SSE Accession # 126203
