VEGETABLES / BEAN
SNAP-BUSH
090+ days, orig. source for mosaic/anthracnose res., seed purple mottled with tan, green round mod.-length pod, healthy, prolific bearer, mod.-slow drying. Discovered in a field of Refugee beans in the 1920's by Ralph Corbett of the Souix City Seed Company of Souix City, Iowa. A selection process of beans that survived a mosaic outbreak resulted in his name being attached to this refugee strain. Source: A resident of Hobartville, NSW, Australia who I believe probably obtained this bean from the Australian Seed Bank.
