Black Prince

Capsicum annuum. Beautiful ornamental pepper with black-purple foliage and purple flowers. Fruits start dark purple and mature red, about 3/4–1 inch, conical, very hot, but not great flavor. This one is mostly grown for containers and display, though the peppers are edible. Original seeds came in a mixture, sold by Park Seed Co. I called and spoke with the breeder at Park's and he identified the pepper as Black Prince. Seed is pure, isolated. Forms a small bush. Sample is 15 seeds.
