Cantaloupe with a classic flavor. Sweet, juicy and firm fleshed. Heavy, thick netting covers entire fruit. Fruit are elliptical shape, 6-7" long, 5-6" long, 3lbs. Thick, orange flesh. Thin, green rind. Moderately productive. Named for, and originally grown by, Dr. John Wyche, and early SSE member from Hugo, OK. SSE Accession # 112963
