Small, red, pear-shaped fruit. Very uniform. Best as a paste, sauce or canning tomato. Fair flavor. Firm, somewhat mealy texture. Low sweetness, low acid. Tough skin means that fruit are generally crack-free and hold well on the plants. Glossy skin, red flesh. Fruit 2-3 inches long, 1.5-2 inches wide, and 2-3 ounces. 4-6 fruit per cluster. Fruit detach from pedicel very easily. Small, determinate plants. Highly productive. Small, regular leaves. Donated to SSE in the early 1980s by Alex Caron (ONT CA A) who acquired this variety in the late 1970s from Sandra Cumming (ALB CU S) of Okotoks, Alberta, Canada.
