Red Belgian

Dark red, sweet, triangular pepper. Nice flavor and texture. Sweet, crunchy and juicy. Medium-thick walls. Early to mid-season. Smooth skin with slight corking. Fruit mature from yellow-green to orange-red to dark red. Fruit 3-3.5 inches long, 2.5 inches wide. Fruit do not hold well on the plants (become soft). Medium-low productivity. Plants green with dark purple nodes. Erect growth habit but branches are susceptible to breaking due to heavy fruit. Plants 2.5 feet tall. Brix 7.2 Capsicum annuum. SSE Accession # 117156
