Green, ovate to elliptic, medium-sized heads. Some variability in head size and pointedness. Heads moderately solid. Blue-green leaves. Plants 13-16" tall, 2-2.5' wide at market maturity. Heads 8-10" long, 5-7" wide, and 2-4lbs. A Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit winner in 1993. Plants suffered from alternaria in 2016 growout at Heritage Farm. Acquired by SSE from Thompson & Morgan seed company (CV Tho), who offered this variety from 1990-1994. SSE Accession # 106653
