Cossack Pineapple

P. grisea. Fruit are round and yellow at maturity. Taste is sweet and fruity with a hint of pineapple flavor. Fruit measure 0.6" long by 0.6" wide. Green, downy leaves with extensive purple pigmentation in the stems and petioles. Plants have prostrate growth habit with a slight tendency to grow upright. Plants grow 50-60" wide and 1-1.5' tall. Very productive when grown in 2014 at Heritage Farm. SSE Accession # 110979
