Moderate climbing tendency. Pods straight to slightly curved; pendant; non-pigmented; 6-9" long. Pods positioned throughout leaf canopy. White flowers. 8-15 seeds per pod. Seeds small, oval, beige with rust colored eye. Average productivity; mid-season maturing when grown in 2014 at Heritage Farm. Dry beans have a mild grassy flavor; earthy; creamy texture. Donated to SSE by James Burnham who received the variety in 2002 from his wife's cousin, Barney Farmer of Toccoa, Georgia. Grown by Farmer since at least the early 1950s. SSE Accession # 109119
