Spicebush

Lindera benzoin; aka Carolina Allspice; grows in moist and shady places, woods and clearings. Berries look like Dogwood but contain a single pit rather than multiple seeds. Pit & dried berry can be ground into a spice used like allspice; twigs can be made into a tincture along with walnut to aid digestion and banish parasitic worms.
