Pole bean best eaten at the snap stage. The pods are flat and slightly curved. Light green in color, they develop a strong string fairly quickly. The window to eat them is small, but if you get them before they develop the suture string, they have a nice flavor and texture, though they can be a bit dry. They get tough and fibrous pretty quickly, however. The pods are 6" long. The dry beans are medium ovals with a mottled buff/tan background and brown striping. It was moderately productive during the 2021 growout at Heritage Farm. Mid season maturing.
