New Jersey 1770's. Was considered lost until rediscovered in Livingston New Jersey at an old cider mill in September 1976. Sml. to Med. long ovate yellow, firm dense very rich, sprightly. Low tannin rated sweet/sharp cider apple. Good for eating, cooking, cider. Heavy bearing, vigorous spreading, large tree, annual. Ripens late, keeps until April. From: OR BO N Have 1 scion this year.
