Vermont Sulphur

Bush/dry. Mild, beany flavor. Bush plants measure 1-1.5" tall. Pink flowers. Straight to slightly curved pods measure 3.5-5.0" long and 0.5" wide. Mature pods are light yellow. 4-5 seeds per pod. Medium sized oblong light olive-brown seeds. Ruth Dockham of Minnesota shared this variety of bean with SSE in 1982. Ruth said she received them from "a lady who came from the East Coast who got them from her mother." SSE Accession # 101809
