Floral Gem

Fruits are the wax type, with a tapered, triangular shape, 1-2" long, changing from light yellow to orange to red as they mature. Plants short, bushy, as wide as tall, with dark green leaves, very productive. Grown by Matt Melcher in 2021 for the Collection Documentation Project; he described the heat as variable, from "mild to almost as hot as a japlapeno" and rated the variety "very good" overall.
