Italian Miners

This is a green looseleaf lettuce with spatulate leaves and some blistering. It measures 1-1.5 ft in diameter and 0.5-1 ft tall. The leaves are very tough and are lacking in sweetness, though not in bitterness. This variety is early maturing and very early bolting. SSE Accession # 111566
