Rattlesnake

Snap bean with striped pods, seeds ripe from 70-120 days in 2016, and 100-120 in 2017. 6-7" long, 3/8"-7/16" round dry pods contain 3-7 seeds (up to 9 in 2017), tan with cream and brown streaks. From 10 plants, I got 17 pods in 2016 (in full sun, hot and VERY dry), but 92 pods with 524 seeds in 2017 (in part shade, dry June and July) from 7 plants - my most productive bean. In 2018 (July drought) it did poorly. The photo shows 2017 beans including black seeds. Striped seeds produced only striped ones in 2018.100% 3-year germination. 2025 seed.
