Eden Valley Hollow Crown

Long, slender roots with a uniform taper. A few roots have broader shoulders and a stronger taper. Moderately smooth, whitish cream skin. Good flavor and texture. Medium depth and width of crown. Half of roots grown in 2015 at Heritage Farm were severely split along their long axis. One root was severely attacked by carrot fly maggots. Roots measured 11-18" long and 2-3" wide and weighed 0.4-1.2 lbs. at the end of the season. No root forking. No canker symptoms. SSE Accession # 114696
