Fireworks

C. annuum. This ornamental pepper is very fun! The peppers grow in an erect habit and mature from pale yellow to orange to red. The bright colors pop in the solid green foliage. The fruits are small, only about an inch long, and are triangular with a pointed end. They are not good for eating, with very thin walls and many seeds. They are also extremely hot, but have no complexity of flavor. The plants are short and spreading, growing only 8-9" high. SSE Accession # 116559
