Elongate, virtually black fruit with a pointed tip. Dark purple calyx and pedicel with a few prickles. Fruit born singly and slightly curved. Market fruit 8-12" long, 1-2" wide. Cream-colored flesh. Highly pigmented plants, reaching up to 2' tall at Heritage Farm. Dark purple-black stems and purple-green leaves. Seed mature fruit are light purple-yellow. Purple flowers. Medium-high productivity when grown in 2016 at Heritage Farm. Mid-season maturing. SSE Accession # 109652
