The upright, conical peppers are born purple and then turn red and amber, all competing for attention on the same plant and nicely flaunted on a background canvas of beautiful, purple-tinted foliage. The foliage develops a deeper purple colour when grown in full sun. This ornamental pepper is so beautiful in foliage, flower and fruit that you may hesitate to eat its charming peppers which have a hot bite.
