Amelanchier Canadensis

This native shrub/tree goes by many names, including Saskatoon, Serviceberry, Shadblow, and Juneberry (although Juneberry is misleading in Zone 3 - it ripens more into July in the North). Depending on the cultivar, the blueberry-like fruit may be red to blue, or almost black. Delicious fruit. Scions only. Call before ordering.
