Takane Ruby Buckwheat

Red flowering buckwheat is a more rare pseudo-grain. They have colors that can be seen blooming in the Himalayan mountains. In the late 1980s, a professor from Shinshu University in Japan collected seeds for a unique flowering buckwheat from Yunnan, China. These seeds can be sprouted for highly nutritious micro-greens.
