Tall, densely-branched plants. Most fruits broadly conic while some are blocky, ripens green to red. Fruit average 2.8" long, 1.8" wide at widest point, 1.2oz. Good fruit set. Very sweet, moderately hot with heat concentrated to placenta and seeds, moderately thick flesh, skin a little tough. Donated to SSE by William Woys Weaver (PA WE W) who obtained the variety from Matrafured, Hungary, 1983. It was brought there in the 1800s from Leutschau (Slovakia). SSE Accession # 117846
