VEGETABLES / MUSTARD-GREENS
Chinese leaf mustard. Yellow-green, broad leaves are undulate and have a very wide, light green petiole. This variety forms a wonderful, small, crisp head later in the season. Leaves are sweet, juicy and moderately pungent. Excellent flavor. Best sowed in the summer and grown in the fall/winter to prevent early bolting and ensure head development. Plants reach 16-21 inches tall and 20-28 inches wide at maturity. Brassica juncea. Donated to SSE by Katherine Rich (WA RI K) who acquired it from Sunrise Enterprises (CV Su2). SSE Accession # 113848
