Excellent flavor; sweet, crisp and juicy. Winner of 2016 carrot taste evaluations. BRIX 7.0. Dark orange, stubby roots with a blunt tip. Rounded, thick shoulders. Smooth skin. Orange core. Roots 5-6" long, 1.5-2.5" in a diameter, and weigh 2.6-8.9 oz at market maturity. No splitting, slight branching in 2016 planting at Heritage Farm. Buried deep in the soil. Plants semi-erect green to yellow-green leaves. Low bolting tendency.
