Medium-sized, round, orange-yellow fruit. Green husks turn yellow and then brown at fruit maturity. Good, mild flavor. Sweet. Fruit measure 0.45-0.6" long by 0.4-0.6" wide and weigh 0.03-0.08oz. Plants grow 9-17" tall by 65-101" wide. Prostrate growth habit. Green leaves with dense, downy pubescence. Mid-season maturing. Highly productive when grown in 2013 at Heritage Farm. Exchange lister Thomas Jerde (WI JE T) first acquired this variety in 1986 when he bought his former home in Minneapolis, Minnesota from the Albert Drotts family and discovered the ground cherry growing in the garden.
