C. maxima. Winter squash. Smaller oblate to somewhat pear-shaped fruit has smooth orange skin with green coloring at the blossom end and light peach colored striping. Excellent flavor. Winner of 2015 taste trials. Smooth, sweet, buttery flesh. Fruit measure 5.5-8" long, 6.5-8" in diameter, and weigh 3.25-6.5 lbs. Flesh is medium orange in color. Dry matter content: 20.70%.
