Amish Green

Long season soybean, did not produce mature seed in 2018 when grown on Heritage Farm. Good flavor as edamame, very sweet. Tall, indeterminate plants have large green leaves with white pubescence. Plants measure 2.6-3.3' tall. Small light green, pubescent pods have 2-3 seeds per pod. Light green, oval seeds. Some tendency to lodge and need more space than typical soybeans. Flowers have white wings and a purple standard. Moderately productive. SSE Accession # 119399
