Orange buttercup with peach-colored stripes/mottling and splash of green at the blossom end. 3-6lbs. 4-6 inches long x 6-8 inches wide. Wide, shallow ribs. Medium-orange flesh. Mild flavor. Smooth, dense, medium-dry texture. Cucurbita maxima. This accession matches the description of Greengold listed in the Minnesota Horticulturist Vol. 67, no. 9: pg 168, December, 1939.
