90 dry days, Dry bean. 90 dry days. Blossom white. Plants are viney semi runner that produce lots of 4.75 x 1/4 in. pods. Seeds are small, solid light tan, short, slightly flattened. Obtained this bean in 1979 that came mixed into a Zebra seed sample from John Withee's Wanigan bean network. His note on the package was his Zebra bean came from a grower in Califonia. So I grew the solid light tan colored beans seperately and sent new seed back to John Withee with it's new name. After a few growing seasons of the same results I gave the bean the name California. Reacquired seed of this bean from IA SSE HF '12, SSE Bean 1163.
