C. annuum. Hot, wax pepper. Fruit elongate maturing from green to orange. Small plants erect, moderate branching habit, 17-22" tall. Leaves and stems green with light purple coloring on modes. Sparse pubescent on leaves and stems. Flowers white with inserted stigmas. Mature fruit 3-4" long, 0.85-1" wide, 0.5-0.75 oz. Intermediate productivity, severe lodging, and mid-season maturity when grown in 2014 at Heritage Farm. Tough, waxy skin, thick walled. Very pungent, but fruit is somewhat sweet. Very seedy for its size. Donated to SSE by Susan Stanley (WA ST S) who obtained the variety from a farmers market in eastern Washington state. SSE Accession # 116670
