White Pearl

Grain sorghum. Large, plump, starchy white seed. Brown glumes cover about half of seed and fall off very easily during threshing. Compact, oval, erect panicles, measuring 9-10" long. ~3000-5000 seeds per panicle. Seeds are easily threshed by hand. Plants reach 8-9ft tall and commonly have 1 or 2 tillers. SSE Accession # 119283
