"Short day" winter greenhouse type developed in the Netherlands continues growth even in the shortest days of November thru January. Dark green bibb. Best variety for my unheated winter greenhouse, but not as cold-hardy as the outdoor winter lettuces. Seed August thru May, harvest Sept. thru June.
