Acquired by SSE from Territorial Seed Co (CV Ter), likely in the early 1980s. Territorial described it as the standard type for commercial tomato growers in California, that it is strictly for sauce, and that it did poorly at several NW Washington trial sites, despite being a good yielder in Oregon.
