Pink German

Beefsteak tomato. Flattened fruit have strong green coloring at the shoulders. Fruit measure 2.5-3.5 inches long, 3.75-5 inches wide, and weigh up to 2 pounds. Fruit in clusters of 1 or 2. BRIX reading 5.3. Indeterminate plants with potato leaf and slightly exserted styles. Early maturing and below average productivity when grown in 2016 at Heritage Farm. Classic beefsteak tomato flavor. Donated to SSE by Mrs. Jordan, who originally received the variety from her neighbor. Previously distributed by SSE as 'German Pink'. SSE Accession # 122963
