Schroeder's Creeper

Very short vines, 6-18" in height. Plants, pods and peas very small. Standard productivity. Little basal branching. White flowers. No stipule ring. Straight, green pods become round. Mature pods 1.7-2.5" long and 0.4-0.6" wide. Garden (shelling) pea. Sweet. Pods inedible. Round, yellow and green seeds. Non-pigmented hilum. Dry peas cook quickly. Smooth texture with a slightly sweet flavor. Thin skin. Mid-season maturing. Acquired by SSE from Alvin Schroeder of Belleville, MI. SSE Accession # 115472
