Cinnamon

An exceptionally aromatic variety produces the phytochemical methyl cinnamate, which does indeed produce a strong, pleasant odor like cinnamon. Actual flavor is not nearly as strong. Healthy, productive plants with relatively narrow leaves, slight serration and purplish veins. Attractive to pollinators. A warm weather plant, does very poorly in cool weather and even light frost is deadly.
