German Johnson Pink

Single Image
VEGETABLES / TOMATO
PINK-PURPLE
An o.p. variety brought out by Seeds by Design of California in the mid-2000s and incorrectly vended to seed companies as German Johnson. Federal seed labeling violations led to the current name, as true German Johnson plants have potato leaves and yellow shoulders on the fruit. Large, beefsteak fruits are about 8-12 ounces in size. The solid pink flesh is sweet with a hint of acid. Regular leaves, indeterminate. About 85-90 days to maturity after transplanting.
