VEGETABLES / MELON
A vigorous vine, drought resistant and wilt tolerant. Fruit round, 3-4 lbs, with a small seed cavity and juicy orange flesh. Grown by Ben Boegehold in 2021 for the Collection Documentation Project; he reported the melon has a "very sweet flavor" and is "very perishable, best enjoyed soon after harvest."
