Speckled Roman

Indet. Regular leaf. Long and slender, with bright red skin and golden or orange streaks. They are about 3–5 inches in size and weigh around 6–8 ounces. Tomatoes have a tangy, meaty flavor and are drier than other tomatoes. They are great for fresh eating or cooking into sauce. A cross between Banana Legs and either Roman Candle or Antique Roman tomatoes, developed by SSE member John Swenson and introduced into the 1999 Yearbook. 85 days.
