Hutterite Soup

Dry bush bean from Canada. 85-100+ days, Dry pods 4x3/8x3/8". Yellowish white shiny small seed 5/16"x1/4"x1/4", 2-4/pod. Survives (and prefers) cool wet conditions. They are less likely to rot on the ground than other bush beans. Poor crop in (ideal) 2014, good crop in cold short flooded then dry 2015, and poor crop in 2016 and beyond. 15% germination of 2015 seed in 2017. Probably better for Canadian plains where the Hutterites are. Used to do very well here before 2014, when we had cooler summers without the one-month droughts. Can send 10 seeds from 2020-2021 or 2023. 80% 3-year germination.
