Jerry Moeller (Donor) donated the variety after SSE Heritage Farm requested the variety through the Exchange in 2011. Jerry has grown this variety for 35 years! Jerry got the seeds from a neighbor, John Brill (Original Source) who was a local farmer in the 1970’s with Alsatian & French Protestant heritage. Jerry named the variety in honor of John Brill’s heritage. Jerry Moeller (NY MO J) began listing this variety in 2009. SSE Accession # 131504
