Detroit Supreme

Garden type. Leaves green with red veins and petiole. Root half buried. Single, circular roots with dark red skin. Avgs 2.4" long, 2" wide, 3oz. Flesh is purple with medium, white rings. Good texture, very sweet flesh. Leaves not bitter. Given to SSE by Robert Wood (KS WO R); from CV Rocky Mt Seed Co. SSE Accession # 106292
